Is it okay if i clean my goldfish tank every 2 months?

these 2 goldfish are probably going to a pond soon, but i havent cleaned the fish tank 2 motnhs ago, and they the water test told me the nitrites are 4, and the nitrates are below .40, the water is crystal clear, it doesnt smell or anything, the tank has been established for 3 years, and the water is kept at 65F., the goldfish look very healthy. so could i clean it like every 2 months? instead of 2 weeks?, cuz i think it just disturbs the good bacteria when i dont even need to do it.
