Do You Ever Wonder How Come Certain Music Is Applauded By Critics?

Hey, there is good Rap.hiphop artist today, such as the Roots, but I agree, Lil Wayne sucks, I think it is because of the image, if Beyonce was just a "average" looking girl, she would not be near as famous as she is, I mean there are Choir singers in church who can out sing her any day, but they won't be known throughout the world because they are "overweight". Lil Wayne is popular because he Raps different I guess. However his rapping is so incoherent, and his lyrics are garbage. I usually make me own judgements on a band or artist before I like them, It is hard to take " professional" critics seriously,though some are in my opinion right about song artist and bands.
