Why was japan awarded after ww2?

i mean seriously the U.S helped build japans economy and even afford to protect them. it disgust me how they get away killing 30 million Chinese and millions of other Asians (far worse then Nazi Germany). i have a Chinese friend who works in a Chinese cuisine here in LV and i feel sorry for him... 70% of his family was killed back then he told me. and what punishment did they get 1% percent of there population killed in the nukes. they even denied killing millions of Chinese at least Nazi Germany confessed. the Americans only afford protection because of the powerful Soviet union. and guess what they still protect them today. without those awards japan would be the Afghanistan of eastern Asia. if Mao Zedong where not at war with the Nationalist Chinese He could of slapped japan in the face just like he did to America in the Korea war
