What is the relationship between white fungus on tongue and cancer?

I have confirmed that a white fungus patches appeared on my tongue since 3 years. I took medication of oral jelly and tablets but did not go away so far. On the other hand I thought that this fungal appearance might be a symptom of tongue cancer. Please tell me what you know
