Traveling to Honolulu in Dec for 3 days where to stay?

adding a stop on our way home from the big island.. were is the best area to stay so that you can get in the sites of US Arizona and Pearl Harbor.. beach etc. thank you.. For Dec 23-26.. thanks any ideas where else to go? thank you
